What to Expect
Baptism: During adult worship you might witness a baptism. This great event is part of a person's decision to commit his/her life to Christ. Immersion in water symbolizes the death and burial of our old life without God and the beginning of our new life as a follower of Christ.
Communion: We share in the Lord's Supper each week to remember the price Jesus paid for our sins...death on a cross. All Christians are invited to partake of the emblems as they are passed, and to give thanks for God's amazing love.
Decisions: At the conclusion of adult worship services an invitation is offered for those wishing to speak to one of Lakeside's Decision Counselors. Our counselors will meet with you privately to guide and lead you to appropriate action for your circumstance to pray with you, take your statement of faith, arrange your baptism, or give you church information. They are available to meet your needs in any way possible.
Offering: We ask guests not to feel obligated to participate in the offering. The offering is for those who consider Lakeside their church home. We only hope that you receive something from the time you spend at Lakeside.
