We believe that our Lord ever calls us to a closer relationship with him. His truth is perfect and flawless. However, his teachings are not revealed to us all at once. So we devote our hearts and souls to seeking his direction for our lives and putting his teachings into practice.
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. - 2 Timothy 4:2
We recognize that Christianity is a community that supports and encourages each other. The strength of our class is our passion for the word. Classes are taught in an open forum that encourages discussion to explore and enhance our knowledge of scripture. Each lesson series is targeted to provoke thought amongst new Christians and as well as challenge the more experienced. We have found that free and open discussion, coupled with the varied Christian experiences of the group, works well to support wherever you are in your walk with Christ.
The Truth Seekers Leadership team consists of believers who have felt the call to share the word of God. Lesson plans focus on timely subjects that affect the entire class.
Communication
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – James 5:16
We believe in an old fashion communication – We talk to and pray for each other!
Prayer is a very powerful tool in the Christian walk. To keep focused in our prayer lives, an ongoing email communication is offered each week. We pray for the sick among us, the trials we each face and praise God for his wonderful blessings in our lives. Prayer requests may be made either during class or by contacting any one of the teaching staff.
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. – 2 Thessalonians 1:3
