Service Opportunities
Crafts - Teams visit Woodcrest Nursing Home and Brighton Gardens monthly for the purpose of giving them to people who are homebound or who reside in a nursing facility.
Food Services - This team is enthusiastic about their work in the kitchen preparing delicious and nutritious meals. Like all the teams, they could use some extra help. Their goal is to produce excellent meals at a reasonable price.
Formation Team - This group consists of the original team of servants who initiated the Best Years Ministry. Their focus is overall organization, vision and the planning of the periodic fellowship meetings.
Publicity & Records - This part of Best Years keeps records of the meeting and does some of the publicity for the ministry team.
Shut In Visitation - This team visits the Rosedale Manor facility monthly. The plan is to enlarge the number of visits and build variety into the visitation process.
Tender Loving Care - The goal of TLC is to provide a constant touch to people in need for the purpose of lifting and encouraging. The team serves primarily through the means of correspondence and phone calls.
Welcome & Greeters - This team has become the "face" of Best Years. As frontline ambassadors for us, they are responsible for distributing information to our congregation during service times and they provide a warm welcome to all our participants at the fellowship meetings.
