In the Community

We have many opportunites listed for you to engage with the community around us and to reach out to those in need.  These are ongoing monthly projects that are often ideal for the whole family.  Additional information regarding any of these service opportunities can be found at the Connection kiosk in the lobby or by contacting hugh@lakeside.org

Housing Opportunities of Northern Kentucky--cleaning/painting/construction teams rehabbing/building low-income housing in NKY; 4th Saturday of each month. Contact honk@lakeside.org.

provides clothes to Christian organizations throughout the world in order to foster evangelism opportunities and support for the ministry and new Christians. Lakeside members sort and package clothing the 2nd Monday of each month. Volunteers usually arrive at 6:30pm with activity concluded around 8:30pm. Sign up at masterprovisions@lakeside.org

provides lodging for families receiving medical services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Lakeside members prepare and serve meals the 3rd Saturday of each month. Volunteers arrive before 9:30am, prepare the dining area and serve the meal with the activity concluded around 12:00pm. Sign up at RMH@lakeside.org

is an all-volunteer food pantry providing food and household items for low-income families, for school-aged children and for senior citizens.   Lakeside volunteers bag food and household products the 1st Monday and 2nd Monday of each month. Volunteers arrive at 6:15pm and package groceries with the activity usually concluded around 8:30pm.  Children are welcome to participate. Sign up at action@lakeside.org
