Lakeside Travelers August Outing
August 19, 11:00 am.
Plans for the day include lunch at Montgomery Inn, then a visit to Behringer-Crawford Museum in Devou Park. Cost $7/adult, $6/seniors 60+, $4/children age 3-17. Cost of your lunch is separate. Contact Katherine Slay, 291-9272. Deadline to sign up at the kiosk in the lobby is August 17th.
Financial Peace University
Starts August 20
This 13 week series will meet each Wednesday evening, 6:30 - 8:30pm. The class, led by Bryan Brandeberry, will teach you to manage your finances using Biblically-based curriculum. There are a few spots left. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
Discover Lakeside
August 24, from 4:00 - 7:30pm.
This class is taught by John Russell and includes an understanding of Lakeside's beliefs, practices and history. A light dinner will be provided. Childcare is available with advance notice to us. Please register at the Welcome Center or call Darlene in the office at 341-1160.

Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore (six week study). Wednesdays, Sept. 3 - Oct. 8. 6:30 - 8: pm or Friday, Sept. 5 - Oct. 10, 9:30 - 11:00am. Cost $20. Registration is in the lobby.
IRON Man
Starts Sepember 3
Going Public With Your Faith teaches how you can be authentic instead of artificial when sharing what you believe, build trust with even the most skeptical person and cultivate caring connections with those who have not yet come to a saving faith in Christ. This study will be offered three times weekly: Wednesdays, September 3 - November 9, 6:30 - 8:00pm, led by Larry Nelson; Fridays, September 5 - November 21, 6:15 - 7:15am, led by Doug Lund; Sundays, September 7 - November 23, 5:00 - 6:30pm, led by David Monroe. Beginning American Sign Language Course
Starts September 4
Class meets every Thursday evening through November 6, 7:00 - 8:00pm. The first class will be 2 hours, 6:00 - 8:00pm. Sign up in the lobby at the Outreach kiosk or contact greg@lakeside.org. Coming in October: the second service will be interpreted.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study

The Holy Spirit: A Biblical Study. We will be using Jack Cottrell's book for this small group study. Leader: Rufus patrick. 10:00 - 11:00am. Cost of book: $10.
Precept Class
Starts September 21
We'll study the book of Jude, Contend for the Faith, on Sunday evenings, 6:00 - 8:00pm from September 21 - October 19. An introduction for new students will be on September 14.
Memories with a Mission

Our 7th annual scrapbooking day that benefits Disciple Makers will be Saturday, October 25, 9:00am - 9:00pm. Pick up your registration form at the kiosk in the Welcome Center.
