Missions
The Lakeside Christian Church Missions Ministry exists to lead any endeavor outside our local congregation that fulfills the Great Commission of Christ.
As Christians, we have been born into the family business and reaching out to the lost of this world is not an option. Jesus instructed us, His followers, to "...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19, 20
Lakeside has made a serious commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission. 20% of all regular offerings are designated to missions. These funds are distributed by policy in the following manner:
- Overseas outreach - 45%
- Home missions - 20%
- Educational missions - 20%
- Benevolent missions - 10%
- New opportunities and ministry expenses - 5%
Through numerous missionaries, Lakeside ministers to the Northern Kentucky area, the United States and around the world. We believe that we have been blessed to be a blessing.
