What is the purpose of the campaign?
Our objective for “Imagine, According to His Purpose” is to position the church to be able to respond to God’s call and direction for the future. After many hours and days of prayerful consideration our Elders have been led to this Capital Stewardship Campaign to purchase land for future expansion and payout of current mortgage indebtedness.

How will expanding enable us reach our community for Christ?
We want to fulfill God’s commission (Matthew 28:18-20: Acts 1:8). We realize that what we’ve done in the past is just a foretaste of what God wants Lakeside to be and do. We don’t want to just look 3 years down the road but 10 and 20 years and allow the church to be in better position to evangelize, expand outreach in children and youth and senior programs, to become a stronger community influence and help the hurting and broken and searching find hope. We want adequate space for future growth, parking, recreation and community services.

How will we pay for this?
In our history as a church, when we’ve stepped out in faith, God has proven faithful and pleased. This “Imagine” campaign will allow us to reach our goal, as over the three years, we are asking the Lakeside family to give over and above their regular tithes and offerings a sacrifice to touch this and future generations.

How can I help?
We ask you to: (1) Pray – that God will bless and use this church and that He will also enable each of us to know what we can do “according to His power.” (2) Read and listen – to the literature we present, to the vision that is cast so you can be a part of our solution for tomorrow. Be bold – ask God to stretch you and move you to a place you never formerly envisioned for yourself in sacrifice and joy.
