Pastoral Care

Baptisms–Lakeside practices immersion for those joining their lives with Christ. The ministers are always available to discuss this important beginning for anyone with questions. Mike Tolle, Children's Minister, also offers a "Steps of Faith" Class several times throughout the year for upper elementary age children with questions regarding baptism and what it means to become a Christian. Counseling–If you are in need of spiritual help or spiritual counseling, you may call the office at 859-341-1160 to schedule an appointment with one of our staff ministers.
Funerals–In the unfortunate event of the death of a loved one, please call the church office so we can be informed of all the necessary arrangements. Also, if you or your family need to schedule a visitation, a viewing, or a funeral here at the church, please call the church office at 859-341-1160 and we will do all we can to arrange the church's schedule around your needs.
Hospital Visitation–If you or a loved one has a scheduled surgery or you know of someone who has been placed in the hospital, please contact the church office at 859/-41-1160 and a staff member on call will be glad to visit, offer prayer and encouragement, or just to sit with the family during a procedure.
Membership–Membership in Lakeside is open to any immersed believer by transfer of membership or statement of intent. John Russell, Senior Minister, also offers a membership class for adults, called Discover Lakeside. This class is offered several times throughout the year for those who want to learn more about Lakeside's foundational principals. A light dinner and childcare is provided for this class. Check the church calendar for information on dates of next class.
Weddings–Due to the size and growth of our congregation, we no longer perform non-member weddings. If you desire to schedule a wedding date, Lakeside has a Wedding Coordinator who will be glad to assist you in your wedding plans.
