Small Groups

Various Small Groups studies are available during the week, focusing on different topics and applications–some at Lakeside and others in members' homes. Some Sunday Adult Bible Fellowship classes also schedule additional Bible studies together each month.

IRONMAN

Men's Small Groups - "Going Public with Your Faith" teaches how you can be authentic instead of artificial when sharing what you believe, build trust with even the most skeptical person, and cultivate caring connections with those who have not yet come to a saving faith in Christ. This study is offered three times weekly:

Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm, led by Larry Nelson;
Fridays 6:15-7:15am, led by Doug Lund;
Sundays, 5:00-6:30pm, led by David Monroe.

ReNew

"Girl Talk – A Modern Girl's Bible Study" by Beth Moore is our fall offering for women. As women, we are relational by design. We long to communicate and share. Simply put, we are made to connect. But in the frenzy of everyday life, friendships are often the first casualty on an overwhelming "to-do" list. Author Jen Hatmaker believes it's time to reprioritize. Girl Talk is a fun, fresh Bible study with a focus on friendship. Offered Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm and Fridays, 9:30-11am.

Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado. Fridays, 9:30-11am. Facilitator: Kris Rodriguez.
Sacred Influence by Gary Thomas. Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm. Facilitator: Kristy Greene

Wing & A Prayer

Women's Small Group and Bible Study The first Monday of each month, 7:30 pm. Home-based. Women who meet for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer on the first Monday of every month at a different host home or restaurant each month. Call the church office at 341-1160 for more info. Tuesday Morning Bible Study

10-11am. Leader: Rufus Patrick. "The Holy Spirit: A Biblical Study" - This Dr. Jack Cottrell study will guide participants through Scriptures and provide a clear understanding of what the Bible says.

Lakeside Travelers

A group of Lakeside's seniors who travel together for various outings and events. Information and sign-up sheets are posted. Youngsters welcome!
