Racism Resources
As Christ-followers we are to be informed and teachable. Therefore, it is important that we listen to many voices in the conversation on the topic of racism. It must be noted that the resources offered are for those wanting to learn more about racism and how one can personally and socially address the issues of prejudice within our culture. As you explore these resources be aware that Lakeside Christian Church expects you to read and study with an open heart, a critical mind, and a desire to grow. We believe it is important to read and learn from those who disagree with us and/or present a significantly different viewpoint. As Christ-followers we are quick to listen, slow to anger, and practice empathy so that we might truly understand the voices that are beyond our own worldview. These resources are offered in this spirit of open dialogue and critical thinking for the purpose of learning that leads to action.
