    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Objective/Summary:

    The Children’s Ministry Associate will implement the current Children’s Ministry vision, programming direction, and goals to create an excellent Elementary ministry area.  The Children’s Ministry Associate will orchestrate the events, programs, and volunteer team for the Kindergarten through 5th grade kids, under the leadership of the Children’s Ministry Director.

    Essential Functions

    The Children’s Ministry Associate will create and build effective volunteer teams and build relationships to achieve the goals of the Children’s ministry.  The Children’s Ministry Associate will work closely with the Children’s Ministry Director and the campus staff to create an excellent environment for our Elementary kids.  Collaboration with other Lakeside campuses will also be part of this role.  The CMA will plan and execute weekend services and events for Elementary kids.  The Children’s Ministry Associate will also have opportunities to teach and train.

    Required Education, Experience, and Membership: 

    • Full membership within Lakeside Christian Church (including alignment with Lakeside’s values and beliefs) or willing to become a member
    • Strong teaching and training skills
    • Bachelor’s degree from a Christian College would be desired but not required

    JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective

    The Student Minister will be the primary leader of Student Ministry at the Lakeside Park Campus. Their sphere of oversight will consist of both Middle School (MSM) and High School (HSM) Ministries while their sphere of influence will stretch campus wide as a member of the Lakeside Park campus team. As a member of the Lakeside Park campus team the Student Minister is expected to encourage, celebrate and strategically collaborate with all other Lakeside Park ministries and staff. As a member of the staff of Lakeside Christian Church the Student Minister is expected to embody Lakeside’s mission and values at all times.

     

    Essential Functions:

    The Student Minister will be entrusted with the decentralized oversight and leadership of student ministry at the Lakeside Park Campus. This consists of all Middle School (MSM) and High School (HSM) programming and events. The Student Minister is expected to serve as the primary teacher, visionary and facilitator of Student Ministry within these environments. The Student Minister will collaborate with the Student Team to plan and execute all centralized Student Ministry trips and initiatives. The Student Minister will serve in a support role to the Campus Pastor on Sunday mornings and assist with pastoral needs when necessary (baptisms, prayer room, etc). Additionally the Student Minister may be asked to serve as the campus lead on a Sunday morning when the Campus Pastor is not present or available.

    • Innovate and Create: Develops new ideas, material, or opportunities for the ministry to be successful. Knows when a new approach is needed.

     

    Required Education, Experience, and Membership:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or comparable experience in that field)
      • Able and confident teacher/preacher of scripture.

    JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective

    The Worship Minister will be a full collaborative member of the Lakeside Christian Church Worship and Creative Team. This consists of collaborating with Creative Team members to design, plan and execute weekend worship experiences that align with Lakeside’s teaching and vision calendar. The Hebron Worship Minister will be the primary worship leader for the Hebron campus but will rotate to the Lakeside Park and Taylor Mill campuses up to 8 times per year.  

     

    Essential Functions:  

    The Hebron Worship Minister will be entrusted with the decentralized oversight and leadership of the Hebron Campus worship team. This consists of scheduling and equipping worship teams, leading rehearsals and preparing the auditorium for any and all weekend service needs. The Hebron Worship Minister will collaborate with the Creative Team to plan and execute all centralized worship events and initiatives. This includes weekend service programming as well as special campus events like prayer gatherings or worship nights. The Hebron Worship Minister will work alongside the Hebron campus team to ensure a cohesive and focused weekend experience for the Hebron congregation. This consists of participating in weekly review/preview meetings with the campus team and staying in close communication with the Hebron Campus Pastor.
