From Nepal to Kenya to Latin America, Disciples Makers International has been committed to reaching unreached people groups for many years. Their main focus is training up pastors and planting churches in these areas.
Lakeside will be traveling with Disciple Makers to Honduras in June 2024.
MISSIONS OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL | Kenya
After hearing God’s persistent call to minister in Mathare, Wallace and Mary Kamau founded MOHI in the year 2000 with an initial enrollment of 50 kindergarten students. Over the years, God has blessed the ministry through new partners and rapid growth. Today, over 21,000 students attend school in our 25 centers and our transformational programs reach thousands more.
Lakeside will be sending a team to MOHI in the Summer 2024.
VERVE CHURCH | Las Vegas
Verve Church is a community of believers doing a unique work in the city of Las Vegas as they try to reach a demographic of people who have their share of apprehensions to the Church. They’re doing great work there and could continue to use our support and prayers.
SLO CITY CHURCH | San Luis Obispo
SLO City Church is a church plant that we’ve been walking beside for a few years as they settle into their community. We’re uniquely connected to this church because we have sent two people from Lakeside to help plant this church. Join us as we continue to pray for their mission in San Luis Obispo.
CITY CHURCH OTR | Cincinnati
City Church OTR (Over the Rhine) is a church plant that we’ve been walking beside for a few years as they settle into their community. We’re connected to City Church OTR because Travis is a member of their management team. Join us as we continue to pray for their mission in OTR in Cincinnati.
RAPHA HOUSE | Cambodia
Rapha House is an aftercare shelter for girls under 18 who have experienced abuse from sex trafficking and/or sexual exploitation. Services to them include: Basic daily needs, Christian based counseling, Social work to help their families prepare for the girls to eventually return to their families and community, Education, Vocational training and sharing the gospel. The purpose of these services is to see the girls able to return back to life in their own community with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
