About the Group
Women
This is a Women's Group that meets weekly on Tuesday at Lakeside from September through May. There will be a focus on studying the Bible together, and this is a great way to meet some of the other ladies in your church.
The next study, Practicing The Way Part 2, will run from April 7 through April 28, 6:30-8pm.
Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer is a guide to Christian discipleship, framed as an apprenticeship to Jesus with three core goals: Be with Jesus, Become like Jesus, and Do what Jesus did, emphasizing intentional practices like Sabbath, solitude, prayer, and Scripture to transform lives in modern culture. Comer argues everyone is a disciple of something, so choosing Jesus as your Rabbi shapes your life through habits and rhythms, focusing on spiritual formation and becoming more like Him in daily life.
*This is part 2 of the “Practicing The Way” study. Study materials will be provided for all participants and the “Practicing The Way” book by John Mark Comer is also strongly recommended as a companion resource…

Our women’s campus group is facilitated by a collective of women with experience leading group studies and a heart to see other women grow in their faith and understanding of scripture. This group has a wide variety of ages, which has helped create a very intentional environment where a lot of mentoring and peer growth take place.
